The project is part of the "Intelligent Logistics in Freight and Commercial Transport" initiative funded by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology.
The aim of the project is to develop technologies, processes and tools that are based on the trend towards time-phased transport. LogoTakt also aims at reducing the number of HGV trips that is expected to rise due to transport at intervals by taking appropriate consolidation measures and selecting suitable transport modes. The project partners will develop business models, processes and tools that ensure punctuality and reliability within an increasing number of multi-modal networks while developing and expanding the potential in transport consolidation for LCL cargo.
PTV will be responsible for the development of a multi-modal, time-phased freight transport timetable and the implementation of a multi-modal routing and incident management for freight transport scheduling.
