HeavyRoute
In HeavyRoute, alternative routes for freight traffic were found, which are more environmentally friendly concerning various aspects (noise, emissions, pollutants). An additional step examined how such a route selection affects the distribution of freight traffic over the entire road network. It was assumed that a certain percentage of trucks use the calculated routes. The effect on the entire road network were calculated based on this.
