PTV TrafficInformationServices provide traffic information for Germany and other European countries. PTV is responsible for collecting, refining, preparing and providing traffic information for different use cases:
- Traffic situation and map services
- Navigation / connected navigation
- Route and trip planning
- Call centre services
The core of PTV TrafficInformationServices is report management, which collects reports from different providers and generates reports from the traffic it has calculated. After creating the traffic reports, PTV provides them in a uniform, cross-country format, using state-of-the-art standards.
